Rodolfo Prieto is an Adjunct Professor of Finance at INSEAD, where he teaches in the MBA and MIM programs. He holds an M.Sc. Econ (UPF) and a Ph.D. in Finance (EPFL) and was formerly at Boston University where he taught financial economics at both undergraduate and graduate levels. His research interests are in macro-finance, asset pricing, and risk management. His recent work studies the return-augmenting effects of securities lending and the impact of market participation and credit lines in the formation of asset bubbles. In addition to research and teaching, he is a consultant on risk management and derivate valuation.
