Nicole is a Pre-Doctoral Researcher at the Marketing department of INSEAD.
She graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor of Social Science (with Honours), where she majored in Psychology and minored in Sociology. For Nicole’s Psychology undergraduate honours thesis, she conducted an online experimental study to investigate the effect of person-situation interactions on mood and risk-taking behaviour, with a focus on the Negative Emotionality personality trait.
Her primary areas of research interest are social cognition, behavioural science, and interpersonal interactions. She is keen on gaining knowledge in the field of behavioural science, specifically in inaccurate perceptions, social influence, conversations, emotions, and shared experiences.
Before joining INSEAD, Nicole worked as a research assistant at the Centre for Sustainable Asian Cities (CSAC) in NUS on a multidisciplinary project that combined concepts from Psychology, Sociology, and Architecture.
