How strict are the application deadlines?

To be included in a specific round, applications must be complete and submitted by midnight Central European Time (GMT +1) on the day of deadline.

Are any of the rounds more or less competitive than the others?

All things being equal, it is more beneficial to apply in an earlier round. Approximately the same number of places are allocated to rounds one and two. Fewer places may be allocated to rounds three and four. However, it is important not to rush your application simply to submit it in an earlier round. When choosing a round in which to apply, the most important consideration is to dedicate enough time and thought to your application so that it accurately represents your strengths and talents. Do also note that if you apply in the fourth round for the September intake, you will not be eligible to apply for INSEAD scholarships.

Is either the September or January intake more or less competitive than the other?

No.  The September and January intake are equal in size and composition and are equally competitive.

I have submitted the online portion of the application on time.  However, my supporting materials might arrive after the round deadline.  Will my application be reviewed?

It is always better to send an application once it is complete, but we will also accept separate items. However, your application will be reviewed only when it is complete and all supporting documents have been received.  If your file is complete after the round deadline, we will review it as part of the following round, or for the following intake (for last round applicants).
