Singapore is a colourful, thriving city-state and a truly modern and multicultural city. It offers fantastic shopping, diverse culinary experiences and an impressive array of cultural events.
The city's climate makes it an ideal location for all year round sports. The facilities of many condominiums include swimming pools and tennis courts. Water sports are also very popular, including scuba diving, wakeboarding, windsurfing and dragon boat racing.
Sentosa Island and East Coast Park are popular destinations for beach volleyball, roller-blading and cycling. At night, there are numerous discos, lounges, bars and pubs with live bands and Karaoke.
Discover Singapore and travel
Singapore has an excellent public transport system, allowing you to get around the city quickly and cheaply. The INSEAD campus is just a short distance from the underground system, known as the MRT. Buses run frequently, stopping at convenient locations, and taxis are cheap and plentiful.
MBA participants often take advantage of breaks between periods and long weekends to explore Southeast Asia. Bali, Angkor Wat and Bangkok are the three most popular destinations. The Indonesian resort of the island of Bintan is only a 45-minute ferry ride away.
