Since 2003, the INSEAD Private Equity Conference has grown to be the largest and most successful Private Equity and Venture Capital event hosted by an academic institution in Europe. Its success has grown as a result of the large network of over 1000 alumni working in the industry worldwide, INSEAD’s extensive relationships with top firms, the presence of leading finance faculty and INSEAD’s highly talented students.
The conference represents an opportune moment to discuss the Private Equity and Venture Capital industry’s future development. Clearly after some of the largest deals in its history in 2006 and beginning of 2007, the industry now finds itself in a markedly different situation with a worsening economic outlook and significantly tighter credit markets. Where is the future likely to take it (geographically, financially, structural)?
IPEC’s goal is to create a forum in which current and future Private Equity and Venture Capital professionals can discuss the key issues that confront the industry today. Furthermore, the conference aims to highlight INSEAD’s commitment to developing a wider understanding of this field and to enhancing the school's position as a leading source of industry professionals.
The 2010 conference will offer an unparalleled forum in which attendees can explore and debate the many topical issues that face the industry today with some of its leading professionals. IPEC is honored to have the support of such a distinguished group of speakers and appreciates the time and experience they dedicate for the benefit of all attendees.
