Application Process

Step 1: Submit Application.
Complete the INSEAD MBA Online Application and submit the required supporting documentation by post.  To be included in a specific round, applications must be complete by midnight Central European Time (GMT + 1) on the day of the deadline. A complete application includes all supporting documents and the online portions of the application. An email notification will be sent to you within two weeks of submitting your application and will inform you of your Admissions status. For any queries after submitting your application, please write to: mba.candidates@insead.edu.

Step 2: Interview Selection Decision & Alumni Interviews.
You will be informed whether you have been selected to interview on or before the Interview Decision deadline (see Admissions Deadlines). Interviews are conducted in person by INSEAD alumni, normally in your country of residence.  In most cases, two separate interviews are conducted.

Step 3: Final Decision.
Once the Admissions Team receives feedback from the alumni interviewers, your application will be re-evaluated and then presented to the Admissions Committee. The Admissions Committee, comprised of faculty, alumni and admissions staff, decides whether to accept or reject each candidate. You will be advised by letter and e-mail of the final decision on your application.

Please note the following:

The entire admissions process (from the acknowledgement of your complete application to the final decision made by the Admissions Committee) will take approximately between 12 and 14 weeks.  Please see Admissions Deadlines.

Applications for both campuses are processed in Fontainebleau and all correspondence should be with the MBA Admissions Office in Fontainebleau.

The Admissions Committee does not take campus choice into account when evaluating whether to accept or decline candidates.  The selection process is entirely blind of campus choice.

We will strive to accommodate your campus choice, but if your preferred campus is full, you will be offered the choice of either a place on the other campus or a place on the wait-list for your preferred campus.

Please rest assured, each application is carefully evaluated regardless of the volume of applications received.

Due to the confidentially of the deliberations of the Admissions Committee, we regret that feedback on rejected applications is not given.

We normally do not encourage applications from previously rejected candidates.
