EndNote
 |
| There is no institutional licence for EndNote. You should purchase your individual licence by submitting your request via the purchasing department. This citation management tool allows you to search databases from within the EndNote program and retrieve references directly into your account. |
| Introduction to connection files and import filters |
EndNote "connection files" provide an easy access to online databases and library catalogues so that you can search them from within the EndNote program. Each connection file represents a different online database. These files have an ".enz" extension.
EndNote "import filters" provide a way to import text files of reference data into EndNote libraries. Each import filter is designed to import references downloaded from a specific database. These files have an ".enf" extension.
Remote searching with a connection file is the easiest way to retrieve references from online databases, but not all information providers offer that option. On the other hand, import filters give you the flexibility to import only the reference data you need. |
