Professor Jasjit Singh has been a faculty member at INSEAD since 2004. His teaching and research interests include Business Strategy, Innovation, Emerging Market Strategy, Inclusive Business Models, Social Impact, Corporate Social Engagement, Knowledge Management and Diffusion, and Economic Geography.
Jasjit obtained his PhD in Business Economics at Harvard Business School. He also holds an M.A. in Economics from Harvard University, M.S. in Management and Computer Science from Georgia Tech, and B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT Delhi. His research has appeared in top academic journals and won several awards. He also serves as an Associate Editor for Management Science and as an Editorial Review Board member for Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science and Strategic Organization.
Jasjit regularly teaches in INSEAD's MBA, PhD, EMBA and Executive programmes. He has also been involved in programmes for many companies (Adidas, Aditya Birla Group, Alcatel-Lucent, Alstom, Ascendas, Datacraft, Ernst & Young, Google, HSBC, IBM, KPMG, Lexmark, LG, Orica, Pernod Ricard, PT Astra, RHB Bank, Siemens, Sonepar, Swire, Syngenta, Thomson Reuters and Toshiba), government organizations (Abu Dhabi government, EDB Singapore, IE Singapore, Indian Railways and WDA Singapore) and organizations focused on societal impact (UN Women and INSEAD Social Entrepreneurship Programme).
Prior to joining academia, Jasjit worked as a management consultant with Accenture. Earlier, he also held internship positions as a computer engineer with Intel, AT&T and Cadence Design Systems. He is an Indian citizen, and lives in Singapore.
