ELISABET ENGELLAU is Adjunct Clinical Professor of Management at INSEAD (Fontainebleau/Singapore). As Program Director at INSEAD's Global Leadership Center, she focuses on leadership development and coaching in executive programs. In addition, she regularly serves as visiting faculty at the Center for Creative Leadership, and the Stockholm School of Economics. She has been an affiliate professor at McGill University, Faculty of Management, a teaching fellow at Harvard University, and at Concordia University, Montreal. She has also produced and directed a number of video films for management education and has recently been involved in developing two new feedback instruments. She is the co-author of "Doing an Alexander: Lessons on Leadership by a Master Conqueror" (2004).

Ms Engellau also works as an independent consultant, specializing in one-on-one executive coaching, leadership development, cross-cultural management and team building. Her professional activities are focused on the dynamics of corporate transformation and change. In her work with individuals and teams in major European and multi-national organizations she combines her long-term interest in creativity with a clinical approach to human resource management.

Her previous professional experience includes production and management in a variety of creative fields in an international context.

She has pursued academic studies at Uppsala, Harvard and McGill Universities and has undertaken psychoanalytic training in Montreal and Paris.

She is a member of the Research Group on Leadership Practices, The International Society for the Psychoanalytic Study of Organizations (ISPSO), The American Psychological Association (APA) and Institut de Psychoanalyse & Management (IPM).
