Ayse Öncüler teaches Negotiation Analysis and Risk Management in the Executive Education programs, as well as in the MBA program. She holds a Masters degree in Applied Economics and a PhD in Decision Sciences, both from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She joined the Decision Sciences group at INSEAD in 1998. Her academic research focuses on risky decision-making over time, covering a variety of applications from risk mitigation investments to consumer behavior. Her work has been published in academic journals such as Journal of Risk and Uncertainty, Journal of Economic Psychology and Social Psychology Quarterly and has been reviewed in media outlets such as the Financial Times and CFO Europe. Recently she has been working on preference reversals and probability transformation in intertemporal choice.
