Douglas Frank is an Assistant Professor of Strategy at INSEAD. He is an expert in the areas of organizational strategy, incentives, and labor markets. He earned his Ph.D. in Managerial Economics and Strategy from the Kellogg School of Management, where he also taught in the full- and part-time MBA programs. At INSEAD, he teaches MBA, Ph.D. and executive courses in Strategy Execution, Organizational Economics, Incentives, and Strategic Delegation.

Professor Frank's research applies ideas from organizational economics, labor economics and industrial organization to understand the relationships between internal organization, external markets and value creation. He has been invited to present his work at leading business schools and conferences around the world.

From 1989-2000, Professor Frank worked at Bayer AG, where he held management positions in the U.S. and Germany in industrial marketing, information technology, mergers & acquisitions, and strategic planning.
