The workshop revolved around "Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the context of Family Firms". Professor Morten Bennedsen and Professor Ludo Van der Heyden were taking the lead in setting the frame and facilitating the event with Luc Darbonne ( Daregal - FBN France), Alix de la Tour du Pin (Ateliers des Leaders - winner of the Wendel Entrepreneurship Award), Nicolas Denjoy (member of the Jury of the Wendel Entrepreneurship Award- family member an serial entrepreneur) and Edouard Thijssen (Trusted Family Net - winner of the FBN Young Entrepreneurs Award 2009).
