Haiti Earthquake – Reaction from the INSEAD Humanitarian Research Group
Over the past several years, the INSEAD Humanitarian Research Group has followed the humanitarian sector and worked closely with international aid organizations to develop a better understanding of their logistics activities. Over the past few weeks, we have been closely following the events in Haiti to analyse the difficulties in the country and the complexity of such a relief operation.
Our goal is to share our knowledge in this area and make available the lessons learned from previous disasters. Our case distributor, the European Case Clearing House, has made abstracts and inspection copies of our case studies available online on www.ecch.com/humanitariancases. You will also find here below our responses to FAQ’s we have received, a press release, links to video and press interviews given over the past weeks etc. Please feel free to share these resources.
We would be happy to send you more information about our work, and we welcome ideas for possible collaboration.
