27th Sustainability Executive Roundtable

"Marcom 3.0 ? Marketing and Sustainability: New Challenges and New Opportunities"

Over 80 communications leaders attended the 27th INSEAD Sustainability Executive Roundtable on Thursday 10 and Friday 11 May 2012 on INSEAD Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France. Participants examined the implications of sustainability for marketing and communications during this roundtable. The common feeling was that their responsibility in the development of new business models and market-based mechanisms that deliver sustainable economic, environmental and social prosperity becomes increasingly important.

4th Conference on Health and Humanitarian Logistics

"Creating Sustainable Health and Humanitarian Systems"

The 4th Conference on Health and Humanitarian Logistics, was co-organised by INSEAD, Kühne Logistics University, Georgia Tech and the Humanitarian Logistics Association, and was held on 21-23 March 2012 In Hamburg, Germany.


The focus of this year's conference was "Creating Sustainable Health and Humanitarian Systems" and brought together high level speakers from across the health and humanitarian sectors, including non-governmental organizations, academy, industry, government and military.

Participants discussed the opportunities and challenges on a high level and in an interactive way, which included the humanitarian, the corporate, the political as well as the academic perspective. As an outcome of the conference, NGO's, corporations and governments articulated their priorities in terms of their strategies, policies, and investments differently. The conference also created academic awareness for the research opportunities in the field.
