Please find below a message from Manfred Kets de Vries, welcoming Jean François Manzoni, his successor as IGLC Director.

"As the New Year has started, it is with great pleasure that I take this opportunity to welcome our colleague Jean-Francois Manzoni back to INSEAD in his new role as the director of INSEAD Global Leadership Centre. Having been in this position for the past seven years, I realize that it is time for me to let go of the familiar. After all, it is not holding on that makes us strong; it is letting go. It is time for someone else to take the helm of IGLC and bring it to new heights. Given Jean-Francois’ familiarity with INSEAD, his deep understanding of leadership development and executive education, I strongly believe that he is a great choice as my successor. I am confident that he will continue and build on what the IGLC team and I have created; that he has the courage and ability to look at things in a different way, to challenge the team to new and creative initiatives, and to expand the circle of collaborators.

Although all growth can be seen as a leap in the dark, I like to thank all of you who are associated with IGLC for your great contributions from the very beginning to the present. By working together, we have been able to perform extraordinary feats. Your efforts and perseverance has made IGLC one of the largest and most respected leadership development centres in the world. It is very much due to the dedication of INSEAD faculty, IGLC program directors, the administrative staff, the research team, and our coaches (on many different continents) that IGLC has successfully touched executives, inspiring change and effective leadership. For all your hard work and efforts I am deeply grateful.
