The Rudolf and Valeria Maag, INSEAD Centre for Entrepreneurship (ICE) is the catalyst for innovation at INSEAD in entrepreneurship teaching, research and outreach. We also support the INSEAD Social Entrepreneurship Initiative.

INSEAD has the largest and the most reputed entrepreneurship faculty of any business school outside the US. We offer the broadest range of entrepreneurship courses, rigorous and rich research on “building business in a global world” and have one of the strongest entrepreneurship alumni networks in the world.

The role of our team at the Centre is to take these strategic assets to the next level and position INSEAD as the top business school in the world for entrepreneurship by 2015. We are well on our way to achieving this goal.
  • For Students

If you are a current or prospective MBA participant, you may want to check our Entrepreneurship Accelerator - a programme to support the entrepreneurial initiatives of our MBAs. Additionally, the elective courses offered by the Entrepreneurship and Family Enterprise during the MBA program can be found here.


The Social Impact Catalyst (SI Catalyst) will provide networking opportunities, events and workshops for those students particularly focused on subjects and careers relating to social entrepreneurship (e.g., starting a social venture, social impact investing, etc.).

If you would like to meet with mentors to receive support for your entrepreneurial project, check the Entrepreneurs-in-Residence or Social Entrepreneurs-in-Residence programme.

The greatest asset of INSEAD is its tremendous network of more than 40,000 alumni. The Centre has worked hard to create a number of entrepreneurship resources dedicated to this robust community:

In case you are an alumni entrepreneur or angel investor you may like to join INSEAD GAIN – The Global Angel Investing Network – an on-line platform focused specifically on funding opportunities and structured exclusively for INSEAD alumni. We would like to position INSEAD as the catalyst for “building businesses worldwide”. We have a particular focus on Entrepreneurship in Europe, and Asia where we have our two main campuses. We are also particularly focused on promoting the growth of academic enterprises with technologies and innovations spun off from the best Universities and research institutes worldwide. INSEAD Venture Competition (IVC)
Team InImito Technologies - Winner of the 25th IVC, Social Impact Award, and Co-Winner of the Skolkovo Award. Finals was held on 7 Dec 2012
Winner of MBA Innovation Award 2012
INSEAD, the leading global business school, has received the Association of MBA’s 2012 Innovation Award for its ‘Sci-Tech Commercialiser’, an action-learning option, as part of its MBA programme, designed to accelerate scientific advances and bring new technology to market. The international accreditation organisation announced the prestigious honour at its annual gala ceremony in London on 17 October.
INSEAD Entrepreneurship Bootcamps
Series of limited enrolment 48-hour intensive hands-on workshops offered to INSEAD MBAs and Alumni. Bootcamps can be held either on or off campus in both Fontainebleau and Singapore.
