Alex Connock is director of new business at Shine UK, working with leading TV production companies Kudos (drama), Princess (entertainment), Shine TV (factual entertainment) and Dragonfly (factual) as well as new units.He previously co-foudned factual and online TV production group Ten Alps with Bob Geldof and ran it for 12 years, during which time he was six times shortlisted as entrepreneur of the year. He is a visiting fellow at the University of Oxford’s Reuters Institute for the study of Journalism and Manchester Business School, and visiting Professor at the university of Sunderland. He is chairman of the Royal Television Society (North West) and a voting member of BAFTA. He graduated from Oxford, Columbia Univeristy and INSEAD.

INSEAD Venture Competition (IVC): Team InImito Technologies - Winner of the 25th IVC, Social Impact Award, and Co-Winner of the Skolkovo Award. Finals was held on 7 Dec 2012
Winner of MBA Innovation Award 2012: INSEAD, the leading global business school, has received the Association of MBA’s 2012 Innovation Award for its ‘Sci-Tech Commercialiser’, an action-learning option, as part of its MBA programme, designed to accelerate scientific advances and bring new technology to market. The international accreditation organisation announced the prestigious honour at its annual gala ceremony in London on 17 October.
INSEAD Entrepreneurship Bootcamps: Series of limited enrolment 48-hour intensive hands-on workshops offered to INSEAD MBAs and Alumni. Bootcamps can be held either on or off campus in both Fontainebleau and Singapore.
