Entrepreneurship Accelerator

The Rudolf and Valeria Maag International Centre for Entrepreneurship (Maag ICE) has created and runs an Entrepreneurship Accelerator which is a system of events designed to promote entrepreneurship among INSEAD MBAs. The Accelerator has been developed for those students who want a more intensive entrepreneurial experience during their MBA programme.

The Accelerator complements the MBA programme which already offers 19 electives in entrepreneurship, a day dedicated to entrepreneurship, and a Business Venture Competition (BVC) with cash prizes. The Accelerator adds to the MBA programme by offering bootcamps, access to external projects, entrepreneurial sales training, pitch mentoring and a Global Entrepreneurship Forum (GEF) bringing alumni and MBAs together for a day of events.

Focusing on mentoring, facilitation and empowerment, the Entrepreneurship Accelerator activities start early in the MBA programme and are run in collaboration with the INSEAD Entrepreneurship Club (IEC).

P1-P5: Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR) programme
P1-P5: Support for External Business Competitions
Early P1: Introduction to Entrepreneurship
Late P1 / P2: Entrepreneurship Bootcamp (offsite for 2 days)
Early P2: Entrepreneurship Day
Mid P2: Project Sourcing Event (matchmaking MBAs with projects from outside INSEAD)
Late P2: Entrepreneurial Sales Workshop
P3/4/5: Choice among 19 Entrepreneurship Electives
P5: Business Venture Competition (BVC)
P5: Pitch Mentoring Workshop (for BVC finalists, team-by-team)
P5: Global Entrepreneurship Forum (GEF)

24th INSEAD Business Venture Competition (BVC)
45 submissions were received for the competition. 13 teams will be competing in the semifinals which will be held on the 29 May, Fontainebleau Campus.

INSEAD Entrepreneurship Bootcamps
Series of limited enrolment 48-hour intensive hands-on workshops offered to INSEAD MBAs and Alumni. Bootcamps are held off-campus within reasonable travel distance of campus in both Fontainebleau and Singapore.
