The Maag International Centre for Entrepreneurship was launched formally in January 2003 and is currently funded by a generous donation from Rudolf and Valeria Maag. 

The very foundation of INSEAD was an entrepreneurial act and its spirit inhabits our campuses to this day.  The Maag Centre is the driving force that takes this heritage to a leading global level in the field of Entrepreneurship Beyond Borders.   

The Centre has two core goals.  The first is to promote production and dissemination of knowledge in the areas of entrepreneurship, private equity, buyouts and turnarounds, entrepreneurial behaviour in corporations, and family enterprise.  The Centre aims to become the acknowledged pole of excellence in the field of study and teaching of Entrepreneurship Beyond Borders.  

The second is to design and implement initiatives supporting entrepreneurial activities of INSEAD students and alumni and to bring together the international community of entrepreneurship stakeholders, facilitating quality entrepreneurial deal flow by putting together ideas, people, and funding.

Key Staff

	Filipe Santos Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship Director, Rudolf and Valeria Maag International Centre for Entrepreneurship (Maag ICE) Academic Director, Social Entrepreneurship Initiative Filipe is responsible for all initiatives of the Centre including research, teaching and outreach programmes.

	Patrick Turner Affiliate Professor of Entrepreneurship     Patrick provides valuable support for entrepreneurial students and alumni requiring assistance with their entrepreneurial ventures.

	Magdalene Khng Assistant Manager & Centre Coordinator, Singapore campus     Magdalene supports and assists in the management of the Centre's operations across both Asia and Europe campuses.
