Speaker event - Is taking a Private Equity Approach to Public Equities a sustainable investment strategy?

Lars Förberg, the co-founder of Cevian Capital, one of the most successful activist investors, will discuss his experiences of applying to public market investments the valuation creation approaches more commonly associated with private equity investing. Lars will discuss how a public market investor is able to work with management teams to generate operational efficiencies to unlock shareholder value. He will then address the challenges of undertaking such an investment approach during periods of increased market volatility, when investment managers face additional challenges such as increases in redemption frequency.
