INSEAD Global Entrepreneurship Forum (GEF) - Europe Campus

“2009 - the time of opportunities” - Entrepreneurship is one of the core areas of INSEAD.  It is in our DNA.  It is not a surprise that about half of our graduates end up running their own companies.  Entrepreneurs do not function well in a vacuum; they thrive on mutual energy and enthusiasm.  So each year we provide a forum for entrepreneurs and early stage investors to meet, once on our Asia Campus and once on our Europe Campus.  We call these our Global Entrepreneurship Forums.  To date they have proven highly effective at bringing together entrepreneurs from different countries and backgrounds, generating new connections and new ideas.  We feel that in the current economic crisis this is of particular importance.  

This year we have also introduced presentations from two top student ventures and four top alumni ventures and are bringing a number of leading VC firms to campus.

The 1st INSEAD Ventures Fair May 2009 jointly organised by the Maag Centre and Career Services will also by held on the same day.
