Cynthia Owens is one of Asia’s most experienced journalists and media executives. She spent 20 years working for some of the world’s top news and media organizations including The Wall Street Journal, ABC News and CNBC Asia.
She has been based in Asia for 17 years, in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Singapore, covering some of the biggest stories in the region. She launched the first co-produced news programming in China with Shanghai Media Group and Harvard Business School professors. She also worked as an award-winning journalist in New York, Washington, DC and Chicago.
Cynthia now trains and coaches business executives and communications teams. She fre-quently consults with multinationals on their new media strategy. Cynthia is a sought-after speaker for conferences and corporate events. She is an Associate Adjunct Professor at the National University of Singapore.
