The role of business enterprise is increasingly seen as an important and perhaps the most promising part of the solution in shrinking the gap between 'how our world is' and 'how it ought to be'.

Enterprises in the Middle East are also developing in this spirit and are already playing a more and more active role in the regional and global economy. Correspondingly, the region's leadership and human capital are coming to the fore as a source of promise and sustainability.

It is against this vibrant background that INSEAD, as The Business School for the World, launches its first Leadership Summit Middle East. Joined by distinguished speakers and faculty, and based on the latest research from the Arab world and globally, we will explore several topics including the region's long term aspirations in the face of rapid social and organizational change, leadership dynamics within the interface between psychology and management, leading to a discussion on corporate citizenship, human capital formation, and the evolving nature of capitalism.
