Participant Profile: Exceptional people
Participants accepted to the INSEAD Executive MBA are in many ways similar to full-time MBA participants; they differ primarily in terms of age, business and professional experience.
PARTICIPANTS ARE LIKE REGULAR INSEAD FULL-TIME MBAs
Like INSEAD's full-time MBAs, they come from all over the world. They are high achievers, have an international mindset, and are eager to enrich their experience, sharing best practices with people from other cultures and other industries.  In addition to strong analytical skills, they also demonstrate emotional maturity and interpersonal skills.
They are high achievers, with solid academic credentials, and a strong track record as managers. They have been identified in their company as very high potential talents.
IN ADDITION THEY HAVE UNIQUE CIRCUMSTANCES
Unlike our full-time MBAs, participants alternate their study periods with professional work.   They may decide to do so because of age, because of their family situation, or more likely, because of their job/career situation.

The INSEAD Executive MBA participants have greater business experience than regular MBAs. They have worked an average of eleven years, with typically four or more years of managerial responsibility (be it in terms of revenues, of people managed or of assets under control). As such, they are mature professionals, able to exercise sound judgment and to share worthwhile experience.
