What kinds of scholarship does INSEAD offer?

INSEAD offers scholarships to offset tuition fees for the Global Executive MBA (GEMBA) to candidates whose profiles will help further the programmes objectives as a vehicle for promoting international leadership and business practice.

Scholarship awards will range from €10,000 to €30,000 except for the Social Entrepreneur Scholarship which is €60,000.

Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply for all four categories if eligible.

INSEAD offers the following scholarships to outstanding candidates:

 

Gender:

INSEAD for Women Scholarship will be offered to motivated women in business who are making significant achievements in their professional lives

 

Type of work:

This scholarship is designed to assist candidates working for NGO, Government, Not-for-profit and educational institutions, especially those in leadership positions, to

  • stimulate the transfer of  management know-how to their institutions
  • heighten the awareness of other EMBA participants to the non-profit world
  • complete their expertise with best managerial practise

INSEAD GEMBA Alumni Scholarship for social entrepreneurs who address pressing social problems with innovative and sustainable business solutions.

INSEAD Scholarship for National diversity: INSEAD offers scholarships to nationals from Southeast Asia, South Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East, Greater China, Central and Eastern Europe, Africa and Latin America. 

 

INSEAD Scholarship for cross cultural understanding:

INSEAD also offers scholarships to candidates that have developed multicultural management capabilities through language study and extended periods away from their home culture. 

How do you apply for a scholarship?

Essay submission:

Your essay should answer the question stated in the scholarship description.

Financial need:

Applicants must demonstrate financial need. For all INSEAD scholarships we require applicants to provide accurate details about their financial situation.

If for some reason you do not join the original EMBA class for which you have been admitted and you start your INSEAD EMBA with a future class, your scholarship application(s) will not be transferred automatically. You will have to re-apply for scholarships offered that year and compete against the new cohort.
