INSEAD has created the INSEAD African Faculty Fellowship which aims to assist in the capacity building of African business schools, as well as bring about greater exposure of African business issues and facilitate the transfer of knowledge to INSEAD faculty. |

The ifs School of Finance awards MBA scholarships to study at INSEAD
INSEAD, the leading international Business School, today announced that ifs School of Finance will continue to award six individual MBA scholarships per year for the next five years for candidates to attend the one year full-time MBA programme at INSEAD. The scholarships will be awarded on an annual basis until 2012 under the Henry Grunfeld Foundation, which is administered by the ifs School of Finance.

CUSHMAN & WAKEFIELD FUNDS FELLOWSHIP IN REAL ESTATE AT INSEAD
Cushman & Wakefield, global real estate services firm and INSEAD, the leading international business school, have today announced the creation of the Cushman & Wakefield Fellowship in Real Estate. Funded exclusively by Cushman & Wakefield, it will be the first dedicated real estate Fellowship within a leading international business school and represents a significant breakthrough in the way in which the role of real estate will be understood, taught and perceived in Europe and elsewhere. The Cushman & Wakefield Fellowship will be launched in Autumn 2008 and INSEAD is currently recruiting a professor to drive and develop teaching and research on real estate. The new Fellow will be a catalyst for a range of real estate-related courses, studies and events and will be able to collaborate with academics across disciplines within INSEAD. |
INSEAD Hosts First Annual Leadership Summit

INSEAD Sets Record in 2007 European Case Awards
Fontainebleau, France and Singapore, 12 March 2007 – INSEAD, the leading international business school, has won an unprecedented seven of the nine European Case Awards and crowned this success by also winning the Overall Award. It is the tenth time that INSEAD has won the Overall Award in the 17-year history of the ecch European Case Awards. No school has ever been this successful in a single year. An INSEAD business case study by Professor Pierre Chandon and Vadim Gregorian, INSEAD MBA 2000, about the fashion brand Diesel won the Overall Award. The case focuses on the selection of a branding strategy for the denim maker’s new line of upscale clothing. Taking an insightful look into Diesel’s product line, the case addresses critical issues such as how to manage a portfolio of brands and evaluate alternative strategies for launching a new brand. Additionally, it illustrates key steps in the marketing of fashion and luxury brands, most notably brand extensions. |
INSEAD Partners with the World Economic Forum’s Global Leadership Fellows Programme
INSEAD, the leading international business school, today announced that it has partnered with the World Economic Forum’s Global Leadership Fellows programme to prepare the next generation of leaders for the management challenges they will face in the international marketplace. The programme provides talented young professionals - selected from both public and private institutions around the world – with the opportunity to work for the Forum while simultaneously undergoing intensive leadership training modules taught by INSEAD professors and other global leaders. INSEAD professors Karel Cool, Herminia Ibarra, Christoph Loch and Ilian Mihov, will teach modules on macro economics, competitive strategy, leadership and coaching, leadership transitions and project management.
