Psychologist
Kristina Burgetova was born in Slovakia and received her Doctorate Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota (USA). She also holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Her work experiences are primarily in university settings (National Institute of Education, Singapore, Minnesota State University, USA and University of Manitoba, Canada,) as a Director, Clinician, Clinical Supervisor and Adjunct Professor. She specializes in working with young adults, families, and couples and considers herself a general practitioner. She stepped down as Director of the Wellness Centre at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University to join INSEAD in 2016.
Her particular interests include cross-cultural psychology, identity development and self-exploration, relationship and family of origin issues.
Professional affiliations: Licensed Psychologist in Minnesota (USA) and in Singapore. Member of Singapore Psychological Society and the American Psychological Association.
