Biography

Alexia Blime is French and received her Master’s degree from the "Ecole des Psychologues Praticiens de Paris.” She then pursued a Master’s in research at the University of Paris VII-Jussieu which focused on patients’ reactions to the diagnosis of a physical or mental disease. Alexia has post-graduate training in psychoanalysis (Société Psychanalytique de Paris) and Psychodrama training for work with groups (Association Santé Mentale du XIIIeme). She has worked for the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM) and Necker hospital in Paris. She is a guest lecturer the University of Paris V-René Descartes, where she also supervises groups of Master’s students in developmental psychology. In addition, she is Co-founder and Chief Editor of the psychoanalytic online periodical Les Enfants de la Psychanalyse and has a private practice in Paris.

Alexia has a particular interest in the psychological dimensions of success in young adults, and is currently conducting doctoral research in this area. She has been working at INSEAD since September 2015.
