The Founders of a new start-up, Fair Observer°, a multidisciplinary, multinational, multimedia journal that provides analysis of and context for issues, trends and events of global significance, are two former alumni of the INSEAD and Wharton MBA programmes.  Fabian Neuen, COO of Fair Observer, graduated from INSEAD in December 2009, having participated in the INSEAD-Wharton Alliance exchange programme in Philadelphia. During an entrepreneurship class at Wharton, he met Atul Singh, now Editor-in-Chief of Fair Observer.  The two graduates developed their ideas and went on to found Fair Observer in 2011.  As one of the two founders recently said:

"Fair Observer is a tribute to the INSEAD-Wharton Alliance".

The Wharton Global Alumni Forums took place in Seoul, Korea on 28-29 May 2010 and in Madrid, Spain on 24-25 June under the theme: "A whole new world: where do we go from here?" The participants dicussed the fresh opportunities and new business ideas that are leading the way as the global economy again moves toward growth.

Joint alumni global events have been held around the world, including a May 2002 Alliance Economic Forum in Paris; a November 2003 “Evening with the Deans” in New York, a series of Alliance Alumni events in the fall of 2004 (in Singapore, Tokyo, and San Francisco); special Alliance dinners at the Wharton Global Alumni Forums 2005 in Singapore, London and Santiago, all in association with the Wharton INSEAD Alliance.
